RECAP: Bridal Market Week NYC - Spring 2013

We were not able to make it up to New York City for Bridal Market Week to see the Spring 2013 Collections, but we found an amazing recap from the team at Solutions Bridal.  The Spring 2013 Collections are to die for!  We couldn't get enough of Rivini, Watters & Watters and (of course) Marchesa!

THE LWD: Little White Dress

More and more of my lovely brides are choosing to have a wardrobe change into a fun party dress fit for dancing!  These little dresses are making their way into after parties all over the wedding scene.  We think this is a trend that is here to stay! Not only does this make for a fab photo, it is actually functional for the dance floor and (dare I say it) something you could wear again!

You can go the couture route or off the rack.

2012 BRIDAL TREND: LACE AND SLEEVES!

Brides can thank Kate Middleton for the 2012 wedding fashion trend -- long sleeves and lace!  We are thrilled that this trend might be here to stay.  The long sleeves and lace trend is a fashion forward twist on a very classic look.   

Think Grace Kelly meets Kate Moss.

Art, Fashion, and Bubbly...All For a Great Cause!!!

Last night we had the pleasure of attending Labels For Love Modus Union 2010 at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel. The night was amazing with live art, headed by my friend, Maggie O'Neill of O'Neill Studios and then a fabulous fashion show from Lela Rose's Spring 2010 collection. Not only did we get to enjoy all of the eye candy from Maggie and Lela, but it went to a great cause, Center for Heart, Lung and Kidney Disease at Children's National Medical Center.

Linda and I were lucky to attend with the lovely Carine Krawiec of Carine's Bridal Atelier. It was great to catch up with her on all of the upcoming trunk stores at her salon, and get her expert opinions on the fashions as they came down the runway!
